Brewing Weekend
Red Knight Brews By RedKnight on 3/29/2006 8:42 AM
I had the chance to teach my brother-in-law to brew this weekend. Ha asked me about it so we went up to The Hombrewery and picked up a couple of kits and supplies, went back to his place, had a couple of my last batch, and brewed some beer. He made a nice Brown Ale that is fermenting nicely and I mixed up a Honey Wheat that had the strongest fermenatation I think I have ever seen. It is still being cleaned up from the closet floor where it came out the airlock. I am wanting to do some more brewing next weekend, I am thinking about my first all grain and would love to get a couple of guys to come out and brew with me, I might need some help.

Interesting Homebrew howto site
Dead Parrot Tavern By Jay Smith on 12/14/2005 4:54 PM
While listening to the Basic Brewing Radio (http://basicbrewingradio.com) podcast they interviewed a John Palmer who is writing a book called "How To Brew" and it is available on-line at http://howtobrew.com.  I thought it was very interesting and thought I'd pass it along.

Kit Brew # 1: Irish Stout
Dead Parrot Tavern By Jay Smith on 12/14/2005 4:50 PM

I have just finished kegging my first beer kit.  It was an Irish Stout that I brewed at Mark's during the national teach a friend to homebrew event.  I have really enjoyed the process AND have also been enjoying the Irish Stout :-).  I will bring some to the next club meeting.

I have also picked up a new kit, the Brewer's Red Ale, and look forward to brewing it soon.
