Kegerator
Kegerator Conversion By Ken Gillespie on 6/3/2009
I have been thinking about adding taps on my chest freezer, and I am looking for ideas. I have seen the collar type conversion, but it seems like adding a tower on top of the chest would look better and place the taps at a more convenient height. One main difference is the decision to drill holes in the fridge, but that doesn't bother me.

I have also heard people say that having the beer lines extend outside the fridge contribute to the beer lines getting nasty.

Does anyone have any input on this?????

Sparging Equipment
Steve's mindless drivel By Steve Field on 4/17/2009 8:44 AM
I've seen a number of approaches to building equipment for sparging. My old Listerman Sparge arm while cool is on it's last legs. I like the idea of a rotating sprinkler like I have now, but I can't for the life of me figure out how I could build one. have any of seen any plans for this kind of thing? I'd also be interested to know if you have had luck with other methods of sparging. Cheers! Steve

McNellie's Public House and Marshall Brewing
Birddog Brewing By Ash on 4/7/2009 7:32 AM
Alan and I went to Tulsa last Saturday and stopped by the Rugby hangout of McNellie Public House. Excellent Food, Nice atmosphere, Great Beer selection. The Best thing was the discovery of Marshall Brewing Co.'s Pub Ale cask aged and served from a beer engine! It is a special Bitter and was really really really nice! They also had the IPA, also from Marshall, on cask/beer engine. Neither I nor Alan was as impressed with this serving of IPA. The regular draft with a bit more CO2 seemed to suit the beer better. It was excellent as a draft beer, just not quite as yummy via beer engine. But as I said, the Pub Ale was great!

Red Knight Brews
Red Knight Brews By RedKnight on 1/29/2008 10:29 PM
So I am working on a plan of sorts. I have been looking around for ideas to build a brewing system and really like either a two teir or one teir system with a pump. Wanting to keep it on the simple side though. Just something to make the brew day more fun and enjoyable. So I was getting my BBQ pit/smoker out and ready for the Super Bowl, I have the big trailor kind, and a thought struck me. Why not put this brewing system on a trailor so I could bring it to club brews and demos, if we ever get to do one. I just wanted to ask you all for ideas and any thoughts you might have on this. Help me? Beau
